Watch a quick video describing our upcoming social media content.
I’m pleased with the progress of launch activities. While we remain in a challenging environment, things are moving forward, and I have a number of winemakers from Italy that I’ll be excited to tell you about, when product will be imminently available. They are all producing good value and high quality wines, and they have fascinating stories to tell.
In the meantime, our crack social media team has been hard at work, developing content and a plan to deploy it. Instagram – follow us at wide_rootsllc – will be the centerpiece of our program, with content also flowing to Facebook, LinkedIn, and this site. Finally, we will be launching our email list in August – please scroll to the end if you wish to join.
If you have been following us on Instagram or Facebook, you may have noticed that we have been publishing recipes from regions of Italy (hint: this will provide you with insight into where our suppliers are located). We will continue to do so for several weeks.
Later in August, we will explore social responsibility and diversity in wine. Since inclusion and approachability are core values for Wide Roots, we are excited to talk about our involvement in advancing these missions, and to highlight important work happening that will make wine more inclusive and also more accessible to disadvantaged people.
Next, we will explore cultural and historical points of interest in the regions of Italy.
As launch activities continue, you will see more information about our products and producers, and learn about their stories
My best estimate for commercial availability at this point is January 2021. This is dependent upon a number of factors – mainly, the way in which our dynamic world decides to move – and the timetable can move in either direction. This is simply the best estimate I can provide at the moment. But once we are getting close to product entering the market, I will have much more to say about all of it and I honestly can’t wait to talk about it.
Thanks to those of you who have followed, commented, and engaged in these posts. I appreciate the feedback I’ve received from many of you and I look forward to being a wine resource for all of you in the future.
