In our recent posts, lives, and video, you may have noticed splashes of color in the background, behind our wines, and behind me. I’m thankful to Carlotta Cerrato, @carlotta.cerrato on Instagram, the artist who has filled my living space with color. Carlotta is a linguist and an artist. Originally from the Asti region of Piemonte, I met her through a student in one of my wine education classes last year. Carlotta has been tremendously supportive of me and of Wide Roots. She’s offered encouragement at times when I most needed it, and insights into Italian culture that only a native could know. She has made my house more of a home thanks to the color and textures in her works. I hope you enjoy this color in our pictures. I know it brings me good feelings every time I see her work, and I love seeing our wines in front of them.
