Now in its 4th generation, and nearly 80 years since they bottled their first wine, the Marzocchi family has a relentless pursuit of quality wines that express the characters of their local climate and geology. Now run by Mariangela, Francesco, and Giuseppe, they continue the traditions of previous generations, best represented in its Chianti DOCG and Chianti Riserva DOCG wines, although they have also expanded by adding international varietals and important varietals from other regions of Italy.
Consistent with their focus on letting the terroir express itself, they use natural winemaking practices and take advantage of their decades of experience and learnings. Using small box harvesting and soft pressing, they delicately handle their grapes throughout the process, preserving their precious characters.
